It’s OK To Not Know

It’s OK to not know what’s next for you.

It’s OK to not know when you’ll feel better.

It’s OK to not know how things will unfold.

It’s OK to not know if you’ll be OK.

It’s OK to not know what lies ahead.

It’s OK to not know when things will begin and end.

It’s OK to not know how you got here in the first place.

It’s OK to not know how to make sense of it all.

It’s OK to not know what the best path is.

It’s OK to not know how to get yourself out of here.

It’s OK to not know where help may come from.

It’s OK to not know what beauty, wisdom, love awaits you.

It’s OK to not know what it all means.

It’s OK because knowing isn’t a prerequisite for being in the now and with all your heart trusting just this moment.

Stacey Sargent – Healing Through Love

As you know, I love talking to Healer friends. This time my guest is Stacey Sargent, an energy healer, yogini, essential oil Goddess, meditator and mom. In this Conversations With Healers episode, we talked all about the challenges of self-love, the human experience in our lives and our work as healers including love, fear and the struggle in between, and Stacey’s incredible take on trusting her inner and outer journey, which has been crucial in how she created her new healing studio.

My favorite healing nugget from Stacey is “Love thaws, love heals. That’s how powerful love is. When you connect to that true essence of unconditional divine love, that’s what’ll heal all of your wounds, all of it.”

You can find out more about Stacey’s work at this link. She offers amazing healing, essential oil and yoga journeys at her studio Inner Presence Healing in Greenland, NH and anywhere online.

Stacey is gifting a 30 Minute distance energy healing session to one of our lucky listeners. You can enter by filling out this survey by March 31, 2019 and sharing this interview with your friends and family any way that feels authentic to you.

Trauma Lives in Your Cells

Trauma lives deeper than just your nervous system, it lives in your cells. Your DNA keeps the records of all that happens to you and your ancestors as electromagnetic multidimensional information.

Trauma isn’t just in your mind, it is a physical reality. It is a vibrational, bio-photonic storage of information: what can be potentially dangerous, how do I protect myself, when can I relax, or can I relax at all? All this and more live deep within your cells.

The trouble is when you try to apply your past vibrational information to your ‘now’ without realizing that those old strategies no longer work. The way you’ve dealt with things in the past (yell, hide, freeze, get quiet, ignore, etc.) or your ancestors have used to deal with life, are usually no match for what life is presenting to you right this second.

It takes skill, time, patience, the right tools, and a quantum level understanding of the mechanisms of trauma to be able to release them. In my experience, trauma is best dealt with using similar electromagnetic tools: crystals, tuning forks, energy healing, EFT or acupressure tapping, and the skillful electromagnetic reading of a healer, who will guide you when you aren’t able to make the healing connections that are needed to release vibrational patterns.

Chat with me to pinpoint what in your life isn’t in vibrational alignment and what to do about it.

Damla

Feeling

Feeling what you are feeling.
Feeling all the goodness and the struggle of this moment.
Feeling what it feels like to be you.
Feeling without judgment or any expectations.
Feeling what you haven’t felt in a while, whatever is hiding in your depths.
Feeling the scars of long ago and the now.
Feeling the longing, wishes, and dreams.
Feeling what your soul wants you to understand.
Feeling to ride the waves that are moving through you.
Feeling because you can’t not feel or be any other way.
Feeling the deep sadness that comes from deep longing.
Feeling the fierce anger that comes from knowing you deserve better.
Feeling the raw fear that makes you human.
Feeling the intense wanting that no longer satisfies you.
Feeling the wounds of ages living in you.
Feeling the trauma of all of our species and the Earth in our blood.
Feeling what you feel.
Feeling all of it, right here, right now.

Here’s what you should know about me:  I am an intuitive empath. I feel like I don’t talk about this a lot. Since it is such a natural part of my life that I sometimes forget that other people don’t experience life the way I do. Here’s how life happens for me and through me: I feel. I feel deeply, completely, in my bare bones, in my skin with goosebumps, in my stomach, in my throat, and in my dreams within my sleep. I feel as I walk the Earth. I feel as I interact with you and deep down I know how blocked your chakras are, how much wounding you have been carrying. Your wounds speak to me like they are my own. Sometimes it is hard for me to figure out where you end and where I begin. I need lots of alone time, tons of boundaries, and I do hide in restrooms to ground myself in big parties. I deeply feel what hasn’t been said what you may not be aware of yet, but is so apparent to me as I watch you and in the relationships and interactions I witness. I am full of compassion and heartbreak sometimes because our wounds are deeper than oceans and we all need healing so desperately, so fiercely. I sometimes feel small not knowing whether what I do is making a difference, yet I have to do it. I have to be me, I have to feel and I have to try to heal myself and others. Because honestly, I don’t know how to be another way. I tried not feeling, it didn’t work. I tried not being myself, it didn’t work. I am who I am. Through feeling, I sense into my inner landscape. Through feeling, I decipher your landscape and know without words, what is out of balance. Through feeling, I have discovered that my uniqueness, though challenging sometimes, is a true gift. Through feeling, I see me. Through feeling, I see you. This is what is coming through today. This is what wants to be shared.

Here’s what you should know: you don’t have to be an empath to feel, you just need to allow your feelings to become a delicious experience enriching your life. If you need help feeling, truly feeling, while someone holds you safely, I am here.

With love and light,
Damla

Honoring

Honoring your ancestors, their resilience and fight for life.

Honoring your parents, with all they did or didn’t do they contributed to who you are.

Honoring all your teachers and guides, all the people you ever met, loved, liked or didn’t like, everyone who may have touched your life knowingly or unknowingly.

Honoring the Earth, honoring the stars and celestial bodies, and whatever or whoever lies beyond what our eyes can see.

Honoring all dimensions of our existence.

Honoring what we are made of, light, vibration and pure potential.

Honoring every single piece, particle, and wave of your being, making you the way you are.

Honoring the experiences that brought you here, seemingly good or bad.

Honoring all your wounds, all the parts of you that need healing.

Honoring where you come from, where you are and where you might be headed.

Honoring the spark in you, that part of you that demands you to keep going, keep trying, keep living.

Honoring our capacity to love even with all the trauma and drama in the world.

Honoring what’s not being said, heard, and what you haven’t felt and processed.

Honoring the beauty in you and all around you.

Honoring your eyes that see, your ears that hear, your soul that feels.

Honoring your big and small victories.

Honoring your defeat, your shadow, your blindness.

Honoring where it hurts, how it hurts, how much it hurts.

Honoring the sleepless nights.

Honoring the mystery of being alive, right here, right now.

Honoring that nothing is permanent.

Honoring everything.

Honoring every being.

Honoring you, for being.

With love and light,

Damla

Before you go,I want you to know that honoring doesn’t mean you have to do it all by yourself. I am here if you need help hearing, seeing, deciphering, unfolding and honoring your wounds.

I invite you to listen to Conversations with Healers, a podcast and video interview series where I talk to self-healers and healers all about healing and being and becoming a healer. If there’s someone you’d like me to talk to or if you would like to sit down with me to talk all about healing over tea, please let me know.

Remembering

Remembering who you are.
Remembering that life is happening for you, not to you.
Remembering that your wounds are gifts.
Remembering that your body is your ally.
Remembering that you have been here before, in this mess, in this struggle, and you survived.
Remembering that life isn’t made up of absolutes, but complex, enchanted, beautiful combinations of duality and fluidity.
Remembering that grief has its own timeline, so does creativity, joyfulness, rest and renewal.
Remembering that you are not your wounds, you are the light that surrounds them and that is hidden in them.
Remembering that your soul has a journey to fulfill that you may never understand with your 3D glasses.
Remembering that everyone is lost in their own struggles.
Remembering that true forgiveness can only start with being vulnerable and forgiving yourself.
Remembering that this is all just a dream.
Remembering being.
Remembering that you are your own healer and you will attract to you all that you need to heal including tools, strategies, right-for-you healers.
Remembering that you don’t have to struggle by yourself, you can get help, support from a compassionate space-holder.
Remembering that your intention to heal will get you further than you may think possible.
Remembering you are not alone, we are all wounded.
Remembering all that you have ever lived through have been gifts.
Remembering there is healing happening each and every moment big or small.
Remembering you are love manifested as a body.

This is what I call healing. If you need help remembering, I am here for you.

With love and light,

Damla

Karen Ortiz – Finding What Works For You

One of my dreams for 2019 is creating soulful conversations for self-healers and healers to support and inspire them. I am so happy to say that Conversations With Healers podcast and interview series has been born. Here’s the first interview for this monthly’ish series, which will feature your and my favorite healers. If there’s someone you’d like me to talk to or if you would like to sit down with me to talk all about healing over tea, please let me know.

My first interview guest, Karen Ortiz is not only one of my dearest friends but also an amazing body therapist. She has the uncanny ability to read bodies and assist people in learning more about their bodies and healing themselves.

In this episode of Conversations with Healers, Karen and I talked about:

  • Speaking the language of and reading bodies.
  • The importance of collaboration and supporting other healers.
  • When to see a healer and when to send your clients to other healers.
  • Layers of healing.
  • What not to do when meditating in a dark cave (hint: it involves glowing necklaces).

My favorite healing nugget from Karen is “You will find what works for you and you are going to make mistakes. It’s OK, it’s part of the learning process.”

This interview was a ton of fun, it felt like a giggle fest. I hope you’ll enjoy watching and listening to it as much as Karen and I did talking. You can find out more about Karen and her extraordinary work at Positive Works Studio.

Karen is giving away one hour-long healing session to one lucky listener. You can enter by commenting ‘Yes’ at this link by Feb 25, 2019.

If this conversation touched you in any way, inspired you or spoke to you, please share it. You can share it in a conversation, post about it on Facebook or Instagram, or email or text it to your friends and family. We truly appreciate your support in spreading the love and light that we hope to create with these conversations.

On The Path

Everything on your path serves a purpose. On the journey of healing, it is important to pay attention to the license plates, road signs, and scenery. Life talks to you constantly and not always with words.

Today, as you go about your day, notice what catches your eyes, ears, and senses. Do you keep repeating a song in your head? Is there something that you see that is a symbol for you? Do you notice how your body reacts to certain people, situations, places?

When you notice something, just breathe with it. Just noticing all that your path offers and breathing with it is more than enough. Understanding your journey is secondary to being in it. When you are in it, you don’t need to put it into words for it to make sense. Your soul already knows what to do with it.

I am here for you if you need help deciphering what life is telling you.

With love and light,

Damla

You Are A Song

You are a song. You are a dancing cloud of probability, electricity, waveforms, frequencies, and vibrations. You are a symphony of notes and frequencies that are meshed together.

Each experience of your life adds a note to your symphony. You have the main melody and supporting harmonies. Sometimes the notes you gather along your journey add to the beauty of your main melody, sometimes they are out of tune with your true essence, which is love, light, and beauty, and they create ‘out of tune’ness and noise.

It is not always easy to be aware of all that you are vibrationally communicating to the world.

  • Sometimes when you know that something is out of tune, it is hard to identify the issue or the pattern just by yourself.
  • You may listen to yourself to identify your out of tune tones and notes. However, most often, we have a bias and a tendency to not want to see some of our ‘out of tune’ness.
  • Some people are really experts at catching what’s not in tune with themselves. They also could use someone to hold space for them and listen to them and their fields to satisfy their need for being listened to.
  • There are certain things you cannot listen to just by yourself, you need another person to hold space for you and deeply, lovingly listen to you.

You are not your ‘out of tune’ness. You are not your struggles. Underneath all the noise, you are a beautiful symphony of pure love and light.

When you align with your true song and clear the noise, you are helping everyone around you. You can change the world by tending to your own song. It is also important to carefully choose the vibrations around you.

My job as a healer is to listen to you and help you become aware of what notes are out of tune and offer you life-affirming, life-supporting, harmonizing tones and tunes as an alternative. So that you can remember and re-embody your beautiful true vibrational essence. If you would like me to listen to you and remind you of your perfect melody, book a session here.

With love and light,

Damla

Owning Your Power

You own your power when you stop and acknowledge how hard things have been.

You own your power when you admit your overwhelm, tiredness, annoyance, or disappointment.

You own your power when you are brave enough to show and tend to your wounds, and get help when needed.

You own your power when you recognize that buying another piece of make-up, face cream, donut, chai-latte or electronic device will not soothe the needs of your soul.

You own your power when you realize that when you yell at other people, you are doing neither of you justice.

You own your power when you stop looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places.

You own your power when you accept that your anger, anxiety, sadness, and addictions are your responsibility.

You own your power when little things make you happy and content.

You own your power when you realize that when you talk about anything or anyone, you are only talking about yourself.

Own your power, embrace all that you are.

With love and light,

Damla
