Tending To Your Needs

A common theme in the clients I see is recognizing and tending to their needs. The needs get lost in the urgency of life and in taking care of others. We all need to have healthy ways to recognize, name and take care of our needs by ourselves or with help.

Here’s what I know about needs:

  • They are your responsibility. Period. Not your partner’s, not your parents’, not your children’s, you need to learn to take care of yourself and meet your needs with or without help. Asking for getting help to meet your needs (without blame, with precision and without drama) is a skill you practice and learn.
  • Your needs can co-exist with the needs of others. In other words, you are allowed to have needs at the same time as others around you.
  • Your need for safety and security, and physical nourishment and care come before your need to heal, to unfold emotionally, and to be creative. You first need to care for the animal in you, your physical being the best way you can and make sure that that animal feels nourished, safe and secure. Everything else comes after.
  • Your needs, most likely, will never be 100% met. You still will do the best possible care-taking you can at every single day and moment. You wouldn’t leave a little puppy or kitten on the side of the road, hungry. You need to do the same for yourself. And remember: safety and nourished body come first.
  • There will be days when your needs will not be met but need to be heard. Your need for rest, renewal, creativity, sensuality, feeling alive, joyful, heard, seen, understood, etc. etc. are all waiting for you to acknowledge them. It is your job to sit down either with yourself or with someone else to name them. Naming a need is your best tool to let the animal in you know, that even though today was tough, you still hear her or him, you still care for her/him and you are here to pick up the pieces tomorrow or whenever you can.

Offering this to you as a reminder to become aware of your needs this holiday season and to take care of yourself as best as you can. I am here if you need help.

Connect With The Sun

Today take a moment to pause, open a window or step outside and connect with the sun. For all of us living in the Northern hemisphere, winter is here, which means less time outside. For all of us living with energetic wounds, it is absolutely essential to expose ourselves to more light.

One of the things that happen when we get energetic wounds is our electricity, our light diminishes. A great way to replenish that is to turn your face to the sun (literally) for 5 to 10 minutes every day.

Here’s how I do it: when I am outside or when I open a sun-facing window or door, I close my eyes, open my palms and turn both my face and hands towards the sun, watching the light play behind my eyelids and holding the intention of receiving the extraordinary gift of light that is there for all of us every single day. Before opening my eyes I take a huge deep breath, taking the goodness of the sun into my lungs and all my cells.

Keep doing this until you feel radiant and filled with light, preferably every day to receive the light you need. If you are interested in shedding more light on your energetic wounds and begin the journey of healing them, let’s work together.

My Favorite Oracle Card Decks

One of my favorite ways to access my intuition is through using oracle cards. They offer a beautiful way to open yourself up to what the universe wishes to say to you. There are lots of oracle cards available. Below, I am listing four card decks that I absolutely love.

The best way to work with a card deck is by trusting what you need to see, feel and understand at that moment will magically present itself to you. When you open your deck the first time, make sure to spread it out and touch every card. You can then shuffle it a few times and select as many as you need that day. Some days I pick one as an intention of the day. Some days I select three or five to receive guidance about a specific situation. The most important thing is your pure intention to connect with your inner knowing and the wisdom of the universe. Once you pick your cards, put them at a shelf or a place that is visible to you for receiving inspiration every time you see them.

Here are my favorite card decks:

  • The Wild Offering Oracle by Tosha Silver: This deck is an absolute delight. It is my favorite deck for choosing a daily intent. Tosha Silver keeps inspiring you to offer your troubles to the love in the universe. What would life be like if we all trusted that all our needs would be met? How would we feel if we knew love is always there to hold, support, nourish and replenish us? Invest in this deck to find out.
  • Work Your Light Oracle Cards by Rebecca Campbell: These cards are beyond amazing for healers and light-workers. They offer a way to dive deep into receiving guidance about any situation you may find yourself in. I love the action prompts at the end of each card’s explanation. The illustrations are so beautiful and rich with symbols. They are lovely to look at and meditate with.
  • Crystal Angels Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue: I absolutely love the illustrations of these decks. They are a wonderful and imaginative way to dive into the realm of crystals. Each card is paired with a guided message and a corresponding crystal. There are brief introductions to the crystals after each card’s explanation.
  • Messages From Your Angels Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue: This is one of my favorite card decks. I feel supported by the universe every time I touch these cards. All the messages are full of love and wisdom. In a world where feeling supported is rare, these cards offer a beautiful refuge and remind you that you are always loved and supported.

Fire Of Transformation

In spiritual healing, we talk a lot about being, but there is something that needs to be acknowledged about doing. Once you know where you are (being), you can begin to enlarge the container of your awareness to hold all that you are. A large enough container then can be shaped with your consciousness, this is the part where you are determining your multidimensional fluidity to take a new life-affirming form. In this form, you become something else. You transform into the energetic expression of the person you are meant to be.

Transformation needs fire. Accepting who you are, you expand the container of your awareness to encompass all your particles in love. And within the container of love, you start the transformation into the highest expression of yourself by igniting the fire of doing.

Doing is your daily practice (your fire) for staying on track with your transformation. Doing is saying to yourself: I will take care of my physical and emotional needs, and the needs of my dreams, relationships and loving connections. Doing is making it a priority to do your self-care each and every day in whatever way you feel is best for you. Doing is doing the dishes, paying the bills, refueling your car. Doing is continuing to hold yourself in love and to meet your needs even when you fail, are in pain or struggle to find balance in your life. Doing is taking time out of your day to connect with and nourish your soul and your relationships.

Doing is the fire of transformation that makes being even more delicious, precious and worthwhile. Doing and being go hand in hand in the expression of your wholeness.

So do and be, not just one or the other.

Trust What Is Coming Up In Your Life

Trust what is coming up in your life. Holding space for what comes up starts with trusting that all that is coming up for you as a struggle right now, is happening for you, not against you. In this video, I am sharing why it is so important to hold the intention to trust in your heart.

Even when you don’t know why this struggle is in your life, you can hold space for it. When it is difficult to hold space, it is time to get help from someone you trust who is a professional space holder.

Your first 30 Minute Chakra Consult to uncover what is asking you to be seen, heard and understood is free at this link.

Embracing Who You Are

Embrace who you are:

  • when you are overcome by fear,
  • when you break promises,
  • when you listen in but don’t receive any answers,
  • when life is too complicated,
  • when you are extremely exhausted,
  • when you react and regret,
  • when you are overwhelmed,
  • when doing is an excuse for not being,
  • when it is difficult to be you for whatever reason.

Embrace the you that is not perfect, exemplary, particularly happy or thriving. Embrace the complexity of your physical and emotional life, and of life in general. Embrace what cannot be resolved, what cannot be put into words just yet.

Give yourself a huge embrace from me. Because this life thing isn’t always easy.

This week, I am in a training to expand my Biofield Tuning techniques and tools. I am bringing back new and amazing techniques such as Adrenal Reset, Sonic Meridian Flush, Relationship Tuning, Deep Energetic Clearing of Organs. You can find out more about my Sound Balancing sessions and book them here. Fear of Working With a Healer

This video is all about the fear of uncovering something unexpected during a healing session. I am sharing some soul strategies to work with and go beyond this fear. One of the questions I hear often as a Healer is ‘what if I uncover something that I don’t want to see, something that would be too much for me to handle during a session?’ In this video, I wanted to speak to that fear and give you some ways of reframing it.

  • There is a soul contract between the Healer and the person that she holds space for even before they meet. If it is meant for us to work together, we will.
  • You are completely in charge of the nature and the amount of healing that will happen in a session. Even if you may not be consciously aware of it, your field and your soul will only let that which you can heal and process to come to the surface.
  • If you are not sure about working with me, ask your soul and soul helpers to talk to my soul and soul helpers. Ask to receive a clear sign that we are meant to work together.
  • When you receive that sign though, you need to take action. Book the call, schedule the session, ask all your questions, etc.
  • If you have any seeming limitations of time, resources or energy, offer them up to the universe to be resolved in the best possible way.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to heal your wounds with or without the help of a healer. I want to see you move beyond your fear into taking action towards your healing.

If you would like to find out what is asking you to be healed right now, or you already know and you need a deeper understanding of the wounds underneath, you can book a FREE 30 Minute Chakra Consult with me here.

I salute you and honor where you are in your healing journey.

Clearing Energetic Wounds

In this video, I am sharing why it is important to clear your energetic wounds daily.
And why you should consider working with a healer regularly to address deeper, long-standing wounds and get help with what you cannot do by yourself.

Whatever happens to you in your life leaves an energetic mark. It is possible to clear and work with these vibrations daily to lessen their effects on you, just like flossing your teeth. There are some wounds that are passed on to you from your parents, caregivers, ancestors, from the socio-economic condition of where you live, etc. For deep standing wounds, you need the help of a healer, just like going to the dentist twice a year to get your teeth cleaned-up. There are vibrational patterns and influences that you cannot see or clear just by yourself.

If you are interested in finding out what your energetic wounds are you can download ’11 Questions To Determine Your Energetic Wounds’ at this link.

One of my gifts is being able to tune into a person and I can read their vibrational chakra states and know which wound is calling to them most to be healed. You can chat with me for a FREE 30 Minute Chakra Consult to get an idea of how your energy field is doing and what needs attention. Schedule your consult here.

Brilliance

We all have a chance to be brilliant every day. Brilliance doesn’t have to mean that you get public recognition or do something perceived as extraordinary. We are often mesmerized by stories of brilliance, men and women who alter how we perceive reality, offer us new perspectives to see and digest the world. Brilliance has become synonym with going beyond the ordinary and accomplishing what may seem impossible at the time.

I see it as accepting who you are, finding your path of service and doing your best every single day. You are on the path to brilliance when you wake up in the morning and show up to do something that maybe doesn’t fill your heart with song, but provides for your family. I see brilliance when people own who they are without compromise and with complete acceptance. I see brilliance when being in the world is taken more seriously than becoming or getting to the next best thing.

You find your own brilliance when you make peace with who you are and understand how you are meant to serve others. There is no one path that fits us all. If you need help figuring things out at any point of your journey, I am here to chat with you.

Layers of Discomfort

We assume that life is only meant to be pleasurable, meditation is always peaceful, spiritual unfolding will always make us feel better. Discomfort is something to push away, get rid of and avoid at all cost. Yet without learning to be with your discomfort and hear what it is here to teach you, you cannot heal.

Anything you experience holds layers. In pain, there is a wave of sensation and emotion, which rises, peaks and falls away (perhaps multiple times in varying levels). Anxiety starts as a small increasing vibration, then takes you over entirely (unless you know how to dance with it), and then seemingly lets you go while usually an underlying vibration remains and never leaves you. Anger starts as an annoyance and grows with time into bursting out when you least expect it. You exhaustion holds multiple vibrational layers and emotions, so do your disappointment, resentment, judgment and any other struggle.

The discomfort is there for you to dive into. When you sit with it, you notice that it doesn’t stay constant, it changes, shifts and begins to tell you a story. As you look deeper into it, you might find the struggles of your baby, child or teenager self in it. You might notice the struggles of your parents or grandparents in it. You might notice the decisions, strategies, and promises that you consciously or unconsciously made at some point in your life, that are no longer true for you.

Your discomfort is a labyrinth. If you’ve never tried to be with it, or don’t know where to start, or you started and feel like mid-way through you got lost, you need a healer. What I do in my work is stand by your side and hold a light so you can see the path before you and in front of you clearer and make sense of it all. I cannot promise you that your discomfort will end (it usually stays until its teaching fully sinks into your cells), but I can help you safely uncover the story that it is trying to tell you.

You can chat with me to see if what I do is right for you.
